Has anyone had it? Or know anyone that has? I'm thinking about getting it this year... sometime before June

Yup I know a few people that have had it and was really glad they did. We've got a really great, highly respected, eye center here in town so I dunno if maybe it is just because we have good doctors around here or what.

It gets a lot of local hype sometimes because of that douche bag busted QB for the Bears, Rex Grossman. His dad is a doctor there.

at the place I'm checking into for intra-lasik. The new 2nd generation lasik eye procedure its $4200 for both eyes and that covers your screening by regular eye dr. prescreen by the lasik center, the lasik procedure, the post op, 1 day, 3 day, 7 day, 1 month and 6 month follow ups with your local eye dr also.

My brother and father have both had it. They like it, but my brother was told he would be wearing glasses in less than 15 years since your eyes are always changing. I want to get it done in a couple years, keep us posted.

I don't know if they can guarantee that you'll get better than 20/20 but I think it is a positive side effect for some lasik patients.

well it depends on if you are near or far sighted too. The way they do lasik normally is by mono. That means they correct one eye to see in the distant and one eye to see up close. The brain puts 2&2 together and tricks you into thinking you can see perfectly fine - until you close one eye, you wont notice the difference. Most of the time you'll end up to 15/20 eye score. Meaning what most people see at a 15 foot distance you can see just as equally at 20 ft.

I believe - just correct me if I'm wrong.
