Posted by: Whizperz - 01.29.07 Last night marked the first round of the TWL Battlefield 2 5v5 Tournament and we were proud to have two teams competing out of 64 teams total. This week's map was Strike at Karkand and placed the first team against DAWGS and the second team playing Soldiers of Virtue. Both teams played their hearts out, however the previous CAL-Main team of Soldiers of Virtue were able to eliminate our newly formed second team. The first team was able to pull off a win against DAWGS with a capout on US and a strong defensive hold on MEC. Final scores: US 33-0 (capout), MEC 41-0. The tournament will take the upcoming Sunday off due to the SuperBowl , but will pick back up on 2/11/07. Round 2 will bring us one more step closer to a potential rematch against Team Silence on Road to Jalalabad for Round 3. Team Silence was able to win in OT in the first week of the Tier 3 Playoffs, ending our first team's post-season goals. <b><a href="http://www.blackopssquadron.com/viewnews.php?id=10" target="blank">Comments</a></b> |
