Following an intense match with team iono on No Mercy, Black Ops Squadron snuck by with a win at 4,666 to 4,599. Both teams played exceptionally well and we thank iono for an amazing match.

Early on in the match the difference between the teams' scores was kept below 100 points. On No Mercy 3 Black Ops Squadron was able to kill iono after the crescendo was triggered. Following this, iono displayed a great example of perfect timing and teamwork as they pounced three members of Black Ops Squadron and grabbed the fourth with a smoker. Through a bit of luck, some fast acting, and skill, bengal was able to kill one of the hunters before being constricted by the smoker and ultimately saved the round for Black Ops Squadron, who made it to the safe room and secured a lead of roughly 1,300 points.

Going into the finale Black Ops Squadron was ahead by about 1,200 points. Team iono put up a great fight playing as the infected and were able to kill all the survivors. After knocking off one survivor with the second tank spawn, Black Ops Squadron quietly waited as the remaining three survivors boarded the rescue chopper and the score was slowly calculated. Both teams were surprised at the closeness of the scores and with a difference of only 67 points it is clear that both clans played extremely well.

Black Ops Squadron looks forward to playing iono in the future and is excited to move on in the second Infected Cup!
