Eh, you can try one. The problem I would have is the way the keys are set up. Once you get used to a keyboard it is hard to go to anything else. Try it, let us know how you like it.

The only thing that comes to mind is something that I read about the zboards. The Zboards have a customized section of the keyboard with something nearly identical to that. I read an article that said that with Zboards, many gamers were eventually going back to the normal WASD configuration on the keyboard even though they already had a section set aside for a configuration like that particular gamepad has.
Like someone said earlier in the thread, its probably a matter of preference just like how much I love my deathadder but others might like their g5.

Yeah after I got my ZBoard I went back to the classic config pretty quick. The new buttons were comfortable but in the end missing the keys that you are used to pressing over and over again can get frustrating.

does this give you a free hand while looking at the pron of whiz's mom? lol did u see the one with the pterodactyl? I would say no person can tell another person that thier 19inch CRT sucks if thats what the person likes and is used to, so same goes for anything in the gaming world. You use what you like and what ever helps you kill the other guy first, be it gamepads, mousepad, trackball, ouiji board, monitor or even a power glove. I can say we might have an opinion about the quality of one item to another when you compare them, but not to the actual usefullness of it to you. So, to sum this up....end this thread and try it out, if you like it, good and if you dont, well fuck we just wasted alot of time.

Fred's right. I'm sure if I stuck to it and didn't stop using the FPS inset for the ZBoard I would have gotten to like it.
