Woot it runs on my laptop great (I think). Started a server and was running 50 - 70fps on default graphics. Might change a bit when people are running around me also but so far I'm impressed.

iourbanterror is the standalone version (don't need to have q3).

You will need the Quake 3 version to play in matches, yes. However, most public servers right now are running the standalone client.
