http://www.cyborgmatt.com/2013/01/dota-2-23rd-january/ I think the game is getting extremely close to release now. Since I've been playing, we haven't had new heros come out so close together. This is now two new heroes within a few weeks time. They are also hooking in a lot of newb friendly features (guides now added in and hooked up to the shop items) and a "practice mode" with bots. They tweaked the "Least Played" game mode to not allow the top 40 used heroes now (assuming the hero has at least 3 wins) which is a big change from the original top 20 blocked. They also added a new gamemode called "All random" which does exactly what it sounds like. Huge update...can't wait for it to hit and play it. The in-game guides are going to be fucking sweet. |
