I think my motherboard may be dead. Which could be good news because it gives me an excuse to update my rig.
I came home after leaving my computer (running perfect) only to find the power on with black screens. The monitors weren't registering any device. I double checked the monitors with my PS3 and they were working fine, both had power. I restarted the computer and got power with no post message, just blank screens. I unplugged the power from everything on the motherboard, removed the RAM, and turned it on again. Same response. I don't even get any beeps which leads me to believe the board is dead. What do you guys think?

Is your rig watercooled? If not, just look at the CPU and case fans.
If your CPU fan doesn't spin up when you try to boot, you're probably looking at a dead motherboard. If your fans spin, I'd point the finger at the GPU.

All the case fans and lights were working. Shouldn't the motherboard beep if there is no video card? I also unplugged the CPU and removed the RAM, still heard no beeps. I will take another look at it tomorrow though.

If you don't have an onboard video option, you should hear beeps with the GPU removed.
Since you've already tried booting without RAM and a CPU, I don't think it looks very good. Your motherboard is probably shot. Just to rule everything out, you can try booting with the GPU removed and hard drives disconnected as well. If it doesn't boot with literally a bare motherboard, it's time to visit Newegg for a replacement.
Also, your replacement choices look fine. I'd go with the Intel setup. Either of those Asus boards is probably fine--just look at the layout and compare the features.

Yeah, also if you mobo is gone you'll probably notice blown or distended capacitors. The capacitors around the CPU (there is usually like 10 right around it) are the likely culprit. They don't have to be completely blown and leaking like the pic below but even if they are distended (rounded) at the top they are bad. You can usually tell very quickly if you run your finger over a good capacitor and then over a bad one. They will feel different. Occasionally, you'll see them blow out the bottom instead of the top but that is pretty rare.

Well after installing a basic spare video card the computer booted up fine. I then put my normal video card back in and everything seemed to be in working order with that as well. I did clean out the whole inside of my case and all of the components since they were very dusty. Maybe that along with just re-seating the video card helped solve the problem? Kind of strange. Well at least I can hold off on rebuilding my rig until I'm good and ready. Thanks for the help guys.
