128v128 FPS with some RPG elements in it. Pretty solid game so far. I actually got selected for this beta tournament they're having. Graphics aren't exactly cutting edge but what Zipper has created might change gaming for years to come. I must admit though 128v128 isn't as exciting as 32v32 in BF2 because of the lack of vehicles but it's definitely still a big accomplishment, especially for consoles. Anyone plan on getting this game? |

Yea the maps are huge. But no, there are not a lot of vehicles. Each team is divided up into 4 platoons, each platoon has 4 squads of 8 players. So basically each squad is assigned to attack a certain part of each map and you can only spawn close to those areas. You can move to wherever you want but it takes forever. The number vehicles are limited and they become easy targets even if you do get your hands on one. It's kind of a neat idea for consoles but Battlefield plays so much better imo. |

There are some pretty cool ideas they have in the game though. Like when you get close enough to the other players you can hear their voice comms. And when you make you're character you have to choose from one of the three mercenary armies to fight for, and based off the wins or losses of every one playing the entire game effects certain perks and stuff. It's just something I plan on playing until Bad Company 2 comes out. |
