Anyone else think this game looks pretty sweet? At first I just wrote it off as a wierd RPG, but then I read and watched a review for it and it looks really damn good. I think I'll be picking this up at some point.

Yeah there are a lot of games that I know won't be competitive in any way that I really want to pickup and try. This is one of them.

The Fallout series is amazing. Fallout 2 still ranks up there on one of my favorite games of all time.

I started to dive into this game last weekend, haven't gotten to play much since. I never played Oblivion but I hear it shares some similarities. The graphics are breath-taking, however, for the amount of time the developers put into this game the character animations are way below par with the rest of the game. I guess it's not that big of a deal but for me it kinda takes away from the experience. I can tell this game is gonna take a lonnnnnnnnnnggggg time to complete, the world is absolutely massive and there is just so much detail put in it.
Anyone else have the game/plan on it getting it?

I was playing this a bit more over the weekend and it really is starting to live up to all its acclaim. I think you just have to get use to the Pipboy3000 and know how to use it. Now I'm starting to make some real progress and I'm actually eager to play the game now.

just beat the main story yesterday. the game was enjoyable, however it didn't seem to be that deep in any element that an RPG would be. Not a ton of gear customization (beyond weapons), nor is there really multiple good ways to build a character.
the game is still pretty fun though.

I'm still playing it.
All those miniquest are really cool.
It has to be in my top 5.
