Hey guys. Writing from my new comp. I am having problems with my new monitor tho. It flickers once in a while and changes hues. Its really annoying cause it really messes with my eyes. You guys know anyway to fix this? I already checked the connections. Thanks!

Thanks, but the flickering keeps happening. It usually happens when something new pops up on the screen. The colors go through their hues I guess is the best explanation. Definitely hurts the eyes

Your video cable is probably loose either at the back of your computer or the back of the monitor. Wiggle the cable somewhere in the middle and see if that makes the colors go crazy. I have this problem every once and awhile because I don't have a DVI cable and still use the normal VGA cable with a DVI adapter. When I use the adapter, it won't screw in to the back of my computer very well so if I move the cable or the desk gets bumped hard sometimes the adapter slips and my monitor can go blue or pink or random colors.
If that isn't the case, hook up your old machine with your new monitor and see if it happens then. If not, there might be a prob with the video card. But honestly it just sounds like the cable is slipping on one of the ends.

Toss in my 2 cents... I had this issue at work for awhile when I got a new computer. The video card is a Nvidia Quadro FX 560. I knew the monitors were ok along with the cables since I had them connected to my previous PC.
Anyway, long story short, Nvidia released a new driver set a few weeks later for my specific issue and it hasn't flickered sense. Not suggesting that you are experiencing the same exact thing (I would try whiz's suggestions first) but if all else fails, you may need to seek out gfx card support.

Since it is NEW, contact the company, have them send you a new monitor or new card. If you know someone who has a monitor, plug it in to eliminate that being the source of the flickering.
Aside from the flickering, how is the new system?

Great, loving it so far. Tested CoD 4 and it runs seemlessly on highest graphics. Age of Conan runs fine, few bumps but I think its just the internet connection. Overall loving it. But I do have to admit the case its friggin huge. I had to put it next to my desk cause it was too big to fit in the computer space it has!

Yeah, I think it is a full size case... most towers you buy and that desks are made for are mid size. By putting it in a desk, it runs hotter, so it may be a good thing it is outside? Glad your liking it...
Conan is also still a beta, that may have something to do with it.

Conan is also still a beta, that may have something to do with it. a 23gb diagnostic filled bloated beta at that. It'll smooth out some rough spots after they take out all the RIDICULOUS monitoring shit thats in it. Not that all that is bad in a BETA, it's just very taxing on some high powered machines but it does what its supposed to do and figures out wtf is up
